Saint Felix School was founded in 1897 and is set in 75 acres overlooking the Blyth Estuary near the picturesque town of Southwold in Suffolk. The extensive buildings are purpose built and well equipped.
A through school from the Nursery and Pre-Prep (ages 1–6) to the Preparatory (ages 7–11) through to the Senior School (ages 11–16) and then into the Sixth Form.

Academic.  The School offers a wide, balanced and enhanced curriculum. Children are encouraged to fulfil their true potential as individuals and small classes enable pupils to achieve high academic results at all levels.  The school has a range of ability levels, yet is able to produce GCSE and A Level results of a high standard.

Music.  Music is popular with over half taking peripatetic lessons. Choirs and orchestra groups are well attended. All Preparatory pupils are encouraged to learn an instrument and the Pre-Prep pupils learn the recorder. A ‘Music in Residence’ group encourages pupils to take up instruments. Music can be studied at GCSE and A Level.

Sport.
Swimming is particularly strong throughout the school. The on-site multi-activity sports centre boasts a 25m heated swimming pool, squash courts, a fitness centre, gymnasium and sports hall.  Boys and girls are encouraged to participate in a variety of sports including tennis, rugby, cricket, football, hockey, netball, wall climbing, athletics and swimming, resulting in pupils competing in county and national championships, supported by expert teaching personnel.

Arts.  The combination of Art, Music and Drama is actively encouraged. Photography and Art throughout the school is of a very high standard with excellent results at both GCSE and A Level.  The school has been awarded the prestigious ‘Gold Artsmark’ for its outstanding achievements in creative subjects.
