Visitors frequently tell us that Prior’s Field School has a unique and distinctive ‘feel’.  Small enough to provide tailored, individual care and large enough to offer a wide and exciting curriculum.  Girls choose from over 20 subjects at A Level and gain places at top universities including Oxbridge.

Evening clubs and activities offer a range of options, encouraging participation and enjoyment.  Planned excursions at weekends are such fun that many day girls clamour to be included!  Younger boarders share bedrooms accommodating between two and four girls and older girls have single study bedrooms, some en-suite.

Relationships are key to our success and pupils of all abilities do exceptionally well in an environment that builds confidence and encourages everyone to aim high.  At Prior’s Field we are proud of our track record of “adding value”.  This is achieved without unnecessary stress and pressure, through small classes, excellent teaching and a careful balance of challenge and support.  We know our girls well and encourage them to be themselves, think independently and engage fully in the life of the school and wider community.  Opportunities for leadership, initiative and responsibility mean that girls are well equipped for the world ahead. The Sixth Form leave, for the Universities of their choice, as self assured, well qualified and interesting young women of integrity who have flourished in our care.
