d’Overbroeck’s College is a leading co-educational independent Sixth Form in Oxford specialising in A Levels. Our students achieve excellent results with many going on to study at some of the UK’s leading universities, such as Oxford or Cambridge. We currently have 250 students in the College, mainly UK but we welcome international students. Classes are small with an average of 7 students and a maximum of 10.
The main strengths of the College are the high level of encouragement, the strong pastoral support and the outstanding teaching from subject experts. Overseas students can have additional English Language support to continually develop their language skills. There are nearly 40 subjects on offer so students can choose a programme that matches their strengths. We also have special Oxbridge and Medical Preparation Programmes. In addition to their academic studies, students benefit from a vibrant activities programme with nearly 30 activities on offer each week.
College accommodation includes boarding houses and carefully selected host family accommodation. Having a range of different accommodation options gives us the flexibility to respond to the diversity of needs and preferences of students and parents.
We also have an International Study Centre on a separate base in the heart of Oxford offering a two or three term Pre A Level Programme which prepares students for A Level study at a UK Sixth Form. We welcome students from a range of different nationalities. Students who have taken this programme before going onto A Levels have achieved outstanding results, and have gained top places at some of the best UK universities.
